Thomas Abrahams, the musical maverick from Margate, is bringing his live looping wizardry to The Friday Social. And when we say live, we mean properly live. Voice, guitar and drum beats all layered in real time until the whole place is moving.
One minute you’re in the Balearics, next you’re somewhere in Eastern Europe, then suddenly it’s Spanish guitar with a South American rhythm underneath it. It shouldn’t work. But it absolutely does.
It’s clever without being pretentious. Danceable without being cheesy. Perfect Friday Social territory.
